2009 Not the Snowy Ride

Thought i'd just throw up some random photos of some past rides. This is one that i usually go on every year or second year. First day is leaving Sydney and heading down the south coast to Bega, up Brown mountain and onto Bombala for the night at the pub. We stopped at the boat shed for lunch at Batemans Bay then headed on.
After a big night on the piss at the Bombala hotel it was up earlyish to head off down the Bonang highway. Not to be put off but there is about 15km of good dirty to be covered on the sports bikes. Then after that is about 110kms of pure fun twisties, with no towns along the way and virtually no body on the road as it doesnt really go anywhere.
After these awesome bends we get to come back up the great alpine road to omeo. I must say these are some of the best motorcycling roads in this country. We stop at the golden age pub for the night were we have a fantastic time. At least i'm not as hung over the next day as i was the previuos.

Looking out from the pub towards Mt Hotham. We didn't go over hotham this day instead taking the road to the blue duck and up over the mountain and down to falls creek. This was a first for me and the road was newly tarred. But all the same what an brilliant peice of road. Loved it.

After this sweet section of road right after the blue duck it was up over to Falls Creek and on to Mt Beauty. It was a very hot day this day around about 38°C and we stopped at the pub in Corryong for a couple of cool drinks. Then its onto Thredbo and we stay the night in Jindabyne. After that is was back onto the road back up to sydney.
